Enrichment Offerings
LEGO ROBOTICS
Kindergarten and elementary children work with the LEGO Education We Do Construction Set. They build LEGO models, attach them to the USB Hub, and control them with computer programs. Each session has a theme tied to science, technology, mathematics, or language. Children build a working model, then program it to serve different purposes within that theme. Robotics is new, after school, and open to these ages.
FASTRACKIDS
FasTracKids presents geography, astronomy, personal safety and decision making, business, earth science, and mathematics. The subjects are tied together so a child can see how areas of knowledge connect and interact. That lets a child draw on a broad base of experience to solve problems that look unrelated. We offer only the core program, not FasTrackTots or FasTrackSign. Gym meets weekly with Coach P; Spanish weekly with Miss G.
What this looks like in practice
Enrichment in a licensed setting adds a specialist to the week. Children gather in a familiar room, often after the main day, and work with materials they do not see at other times. Sessions follow a theme, so the activity has a shape children can predict. Parents can expect the same faces each week and a finished model or project coming home.
The practical benefit shows up in how a child approaches a problem at home. A five-year-old who has learned to test a model, watch what happens, and change one thing at a time will do the same with a stuck puzzle or a leaking cup. Enrichment also gives children a second setting to practice listening to another adult and working beside children they may not sit with during the day.
